Many people ask about areola/ nipple restoration using semipermanent tattooing. The areola is the coloured area of skin around our nipples. There may be nipple loss due to trauma, surgery or fading of the natural areola pigment loss due to ageing. We can implant pigment into the area giving the appearance of a 3D nipple and restore the breast/ chest area to a more natural look to the breast. It is a medical micropigmentation procedure with very little downtime and can last 3-5 years. This is different from traditional tattoos as pigment is implanted just under the epidermis layer of the skin. It will fade over time as with all semipermanent makeup which allows for colour adjustments if needed as our skin colour can soften with time.
